October 2019 Updates and Prayer Requests

Central Campus: We have completed some very productive meetings with ministry leaders to receive final inputs on our drawings. We are resubmitting our Development Permit to include minor changes resulting from these meetings.

NW Campus: We are currently in the midst of pouring concrete walls, the basement slab & the main floor slab, progressing site grading in what will be the parking lot, and installing underground utilities. So please join us in prayer that God would guide us as we pray for:

  •  God’s presence on the construction site.
  • Dry weather so much can be accomplished before freeze-up.
  • Safety for all workers.
  • Completion of the concrete work, underground utilities, and site grading.
  • Our Northwest neighbours including the County of Rocky View.
  • That God would help us to manage the budget well.
  • God’s hand in the Development Permit approval process – that we would receive approval
    quickly.

The importance of prayer
The BUILD prayer team meets regularly (typically bi-monthly on Wednesday nights) to pray for the BUILD projects. In recognition that we are One Church Many Locations these meetings have been rotating to the different campuses. On these nights, we gather to pray for the construction workers and managers, for the outreach ministry of our church, and the growth of God’s kingdom locally, nationally, and internationally.
