We are excited to share how God is advancing our BUILD plans this November! Please take this and pray for God’s continued guidance in all we do.

Updates and prayer requests
Central Campus: Plans and drawings are advancing with staff/ministry engagement. Energy Cost Savings Measures (ECMs) are being identified and reviewed to determine the best approach for the church to meet the new, more stringent Energy Code requirements and to determine which ECMs will serve us best. We are pleased to note that the new expansion will be 40% more efficient than the original building.
NW Campus: Deep services work and concrete foundation work is proceeding; we anticipate completion of concrete by middle to the end of November. Colder weather will cause us to have to use our heat and hoarding budget to ensure the concrete work does not freeze.
Site grading work is still ongoing, although weather has caused some delays. The removal of soil from site will need to continue in order to get the grading to the specified levels.
Finally, we must remove a large amount of clean fill from the site. This fill is available to anyone who may need fill for their own property and/or project! IF you or anyone you know would like free fill they are welcome to take it, and would only need to arrange and pay for the cost of trucking the fill.
Global Ministry construction projects: Ten per cent of all funds raised to BUILD more room for God are going towards construction projects of churches and/or ministry/training centres here and around the world. To date, our BUILD journey has seen the finalization of construction of a church in South Africa (Reconciliation Road), the advancement of up to four construction projects in Ukraine and resources for a SE Asia training centre for house church pastors of persevering churches. On Global Ministries weekend on October 19/20 we shared some updates of these projects (see summary of updates here).
Please join us in prayer for:
- God’s presence on the construction site of Northwest Campus and churches/ministry centres in construction projects here and around the world.
- Warm and dry weather while we complete concrete work. Pray for completion of the concrete work, underground utilities, and site grading in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Positive relationships to continue with our Northwest neighbours.
- Safety of all workers
- God’s hand in our plans for Central Campus and that He would guide us to manage the budget well.
- God’s hand in the Development Permit approval process for Central Campus – that we would receive approval quickly.
