Praise the Lord!! We are so grateful for how God has led us and continues to lead us! We will SOON be able to open the doors of our Bearspaw Campus and experience Sunday services in our new home. 

Thank you for your continued prayers and giving. In our June BUILD Townhall, we extended the giving period because we did not reach our giving goal and there have been cost increases. The remaining construction is expected to take about two years, and if giving to the projects continues at the current rate, the project could be fully paid in about three years. As we move into this new chapter of giving, we are working to clarify the remaining costs and expect to have a new giving goal in the fall.

Bearspaw Campus

What an exciting time we are in! The vision has become reality! After the occupancy permit is received, we will start moving in and finalizing plans to have worship services here this summer. We are working on completing the entrance canopy (see the picture below) and you will soon be able to enter the building here. Other work, including landscaping on the slope below the building, is ongoing and may continue after the occupancy permit is received. Please join us in prayer for the final preparations, and for our neighbours. 

Central Campus

The steel now has some interior structure. The picture below shows that the level just outside the old west entrance has a new floor. There will be a new entrance & hallway here and an expanded Chapel. The northeast corner in the existing facility where there is a new second floor is progressing, including fire-spray insulation, sprinkler rough-ins and drywall work. Landscaping (trees etc.) in the south parking lot has been progressing. The south parking lot has been used for outdoor ministry this summer!

Financial Snapshot

As we celebrate and acknowledge how God has moved in the last three years of our BUILD journey, we are now stepping into the next chapter of our giving towards BUILD more room for God. We are trusting the Lord for giving to continue as we complete the work. Giving received to date is available at this link.

Importance of Prayer

Thank you for your ongoing prayers for the ministry of Centre Street Church, and for the BUILD journey thus far. As the BUILD project moves into the next chapter, we invite you to continue praying. 

  • Pray for our leaders and for the decisions that need to be made including the pace of moving forward. 
  • Pray about what role you might have in supporting the project through your prayers and as the Lord leads you, through your giving. 
  • Pray for safety on the construction sites and for the Project Manager and the Building Committee.
