Praise the Lord!! We are so grateful for how God has led us and continues to lead us! Thank you for your continued prayers and giving.
In our June BUILD Townhall, we extended the giving period because we did not reach our giving goal and there have been cost increases. The remaining construction is expected to take about two years, and if giving to the projects continues at the current rate, the project could be fully paid in about three years. As we move into this new chapter of giving, we are working to clarify the remaining costs and expect to announce a new giving goal in October.

Bearspaw Campus

Updates
The first services in the new campus were held in September. The opening service was very well attended and, the following weekend the campus began having two Sunday services (9 & 11) to accommodate the large attendance and also to help with COVID distancing requirements that were re-introduced the following week. We are looking forward to worshipping and building community together in this new space!! Pray that our neighbours will be drawn to Jesus.
The landscaping is progressing but is taking longer than hoped. If the weather holds, there is still a possibility the landscaping could be complete this fall. If not, some could be deferred to next spring. Pray with us for good progress as we are really hoping to complete it this fall.
The Bearspaw Auditorium (named that way because it can be used as a worship centre or a gym) is designed to look similar to the Central Campus worship centre. The screen is the same size as the main screen at Central Campus, and the picture below reminds us that everything we have and everything we do is because of our Lord and Saviour Jesus.
Central Campus
Have you had a chance to walk around the perimeter of the construction area (on the outside of the fence of course)? If so, you’d be able to see three floors taking shape; the fourth floor is on the lower level. We are hoping to have the expansion fully enclosed (roof trusses, exterior insulation & cladding etc.) this fall so that interior work can fully proceed in a heated space during the winter. Please pray with us about that. The NE corner where there is a new second floor is nearing completion. The north exterior wall which has been redesigned to mitigate flood issues has made good progress as seen in the picture below, and we are so grateful that flooding issues will be a thing of the past.

Financial Snapshot
As we celebrate and acknowledge how God has moved in the last three years of our BUILD journey, we are now stepping into the next chapter of our giving towards BUILD more room for God. We are trusting the Lord for giving to continue as we complete the work. Giving received to date is available at this link.

Importance of Prayer
Thank you for your ongoing prayers for the ministry of Centre Street Church, and for the BUILD journey thus far. As the BUILD project moves into the next chapter, we invite you to continue praying.
- Pray for our leaders and for the decisions that need to be made including the pace of moving forward.
- Pray about what role you might have in supporting the project through your prayers and as the Lord leads you, through your giving.
- Pray for safety on the construction sites and for the Project Manager and the Building Committee.
