July 2022 Update

The sermon series on Romans is teaching us about living in the Spirit. Earlier this spring the series Revive Us Again reminded us that Revival is for the Church and that when we are revived it will attract those who don’t yet know Jesus. Our prayer is that these teachings (and others) will continue to bear fruit in our lives as we enjoy the summer and that He will use the new spaces we are building for His purposes.

Construction of the Central Campus expansion will continue through the summer. The summer weather allows us to make significant progress on landscaping at Bearspaw Campus and other outdoor elements of the project. Please pray with us for good progress.

• Our annual BUILD update was presented online on May 30^th. If you missed it, please watch it in the video below.

• The Central Campus foundation walls will soon be covered by drywall and other finishings. The prayers, reflections, and drawings we placed in those spaces this past June will be enclosed forever in those walls and in our hearts as we watch God bring them to life in our new spaces and for His Glory. If you weren’t able to contribute to the special BUILD offering in June, donations will be accepted any time. Please seek the Lord for His will for your generosity towards these projects.

These are this month’s top construction updates:

• • Bearspaw Campus Café is open to the public so people from the church or from the community can come in and enjoy a cup of coffee and have some great conversations! The café is open from 8:30 AM – 1:30PM Tuesdays to Thursdays. To check on Bearspaw Campus Café hours which could change, visit our webpage here.
  • Landscaping at Bearspaw Campus is progressing and it is starting to look green! Some portions of the slope will need to be re-seeded. It will take time for the grass to fully root and for the trees to grow.
  • Central Campus exterior stucco is over 80% complete and starting to look finished!

• • The majority of Central Campus exterior windows have been installed.
  • The Central Campus roof is nearing completion; some aspects of the roofing will be completed after the exterior stucco is finished.

• • Interior work at Central Campus including steel stud framing, insulation, drywall, mechanical rough-ins, electrical rough-ins, fire-spray is continuing.

Update Videos

May and June were eventful months for our BUILD journey as we celebrated 4 years of following Gods leading and building! Watch the 45-minute online BUILD update event where we lead our staff and board through tours of the Central Campus expansion area while sharing inspiring stories, thoughts and ideas about how God will move in the lives of people who come to these future spaces. Additionally, you can watch shorter video snippets of people writing and drawing what God put on their hearts for the future of His church.

Share Your Story

Through Freedom Session I was able to understand the grip the abuse and the addiction had on my life; not only in the present; but what the future would look like if I did not confront my past. Freedom Session taught me that I am not alone in this fight. That many others are walking a similar path to mine and that by understanding my past and dealing with all the underlying issues I was able to overcome sin’s grip on me. God is fighting for me and was not ashamed of me for what and who I had become. Through the authentic life journaling process, he has brought healing from my past and pain and continues to bring healing in my life and marriage.
