December 2022 Update
PRAISE THE LORD!! As we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, we also celebrate His leading on our expansion journey as He is bringing more people to our doors. With huge growth in the last few months, we are grateful that we are entering into, what we believe will be, the final year of new construction! As we enter this new season with anticipation, we also prepare for what God is about to do and how He may use our lives to do it! Please prayerfully seek Him about where He might have you serve as we need more volunteers to respond to increased numbers of youth, children and people in need.
In this final month of giving for 2022, please pray that God will move our hearts to be generous. Giving to BUILD has been below forecast recently and we still have a way to go to reach our financial goal, which is described here. You can give any time. Visit www.buildmoreroom.ca/give
These are this month’s top construction updates:
- The second of three elevators in the Central expansion is being installed.
- Permanent electrical power will soon be connected.
- The exterior doors have been installed at the new west entrance.

- The book/library area next to the east entrance is being redeveloped.
- Connections between the existing facility and the expansion are being developed, including the expansion of the chapel.
- Interior work continues including steel stud framing, insulation, drywall, mechanical rough-ins, electrical rough-ins, fire-spray, and primer/paint.
- At Bearspaw, the pergola will be constructed over the winter as weather permits.

Importance of Prayer
Prayer of the month
During this final giving month of 2022, and as we enter a season of preparation and anticipation in 2023, pray the Lord will move us to generosity in our time and finances as we respond to new growth across all our ministries. Pray that God will raise up an army of volunteers and generous givers in this final year of construction. Also pray that interior work at Central will proceed quickly, efficiently, and safely.

Finance Update
As of October 2022 we have given $3.3M (34%) towards our goal of $9.8M; the remaining amount to be raised towards our goal is $6.5M. We are grateful for what the Lord has supplied. Giving in 2022 has been below forecast and we still have a way to go to reach our goal. Thank you for continuing to pray and persevere with us in our journey to “complete the work,” physically, spiritually, and financially, in the spirit of 2 Corinthians 8:11.

Dave: As much as it’s kind of scary inviting an atheist into your church, you know that if you really care about that person that it’s something you have to do. You want them to get to know your Jesus, your savior. We have never had an invitation not be accepted.
Laurie-Lynn: Once we started to actually believe that Jesus is who He says He is, you start to realize other people need to know too! … so we started inviting! Jesus said, ‘come and see!’ … and because of that simple invitation their lives were changed forever.
