PRAYER NEEDS – September 2024

Praise of the month:  

Praise Him that our projects are complete and that God has provided such a beautiful opportunity on the weekend of Sept 28 to dedicate our spaces to the Lord and to celebrate the opening of our Centre for the City with the entire community!  

Prayer of the month: 

Pray that our Centre for the City grand opening will have a significant eternal impact on the community and the city and provincial leaders who attended. Pray that God will receive all the glory and continue to use us to impact our city! 
 

Pray that our congregation would continue to give generously so that we can complete payment of these projects by Fall 2025!    

Please join us in giving thanks and praying:

  • Praise God that our generosity to BUILD is impacting global construction projects for His kingdom!
  • Praise God that through your generosity to May 2024, God has provided $23.3M leaving $2.2M remaining to raise. Pray for God’s prompting and provision in our generosity as a church. We still have a way to go to reach our BUILD giving goal which is described here.
  • Pray for our Centre for the City partners – for a complete prayer list visit here.
  • Pray that as we use our new spaces that we would all be missionally minded, serving and sharing with people God puts on our paths and hearts.
  • Pray that each of our campuses would be known as a church in the community, for the community, giving us favour in our communities, and that we would all be used by God to advance His kingdom as we reach out to those around us.
  • Pray that God will use the Centre for the City, not just as a location and a facility, but as a movement across all Campuses, drawing people in need to Himself through His love.
  • Pray for the new Canadians coming to our cities and that those who come to the Centre will experience belonging and have an encounter with God.
  • Pray for those who are struggling during these challenging times.
  • Pray for our Monday Night Evangelism teams to hear God’s voice as they minister throughout our cities, and to continue to grow in their impact for His kingdom.
  • Pray for our ministries to people with disabilities, to children, youth and young adults, that God would raise up a generation that lives all our for Him, following His will in all areas of their lives and bringing more people to the hope and love of Jesus!
