Revival is coming and we are learning from the Romans series who we are in Christ, and the freedom that comes from knowing Him! Please join us in prayer that God will move in all our hearts and revive us, and that He will use the new spaces we are building for His purposes.

First...mark you calendars!

June was a significant month in our journey to BUILD more room for God!

  • Our annual BUILD update was presented online on May 30th. If you missed it, you can watch it in the video below.
  • On June 4/5 and June 11/12 we dedicated time to reflect, pray and write or draw on the foundational walls of our future ministry spaces. We also provided a special offering to BUILD more room for God. If you missed those dates, donations will be accepted any time. Please seek the Lord for His will for your generosity towards these projects.

These are this month's top construction updates:

  • Bearspaw Campus Café is now open to the public so people from the church or from the community can come in and enjoy a cup of coffee and maybe have some great conversations! . This June and potentially over the summer the café is open from 8:30 AM – 1:30PM on Tuesdays to Thursdays. To check up on Bearspaw Café hours visit our webpage.
  • We have resume exterior work, including landscaping at Bearspaw Campus soon.
  • At Central Campus, we’ve seen significant progress on the exterior stucco.

  • The Central Campus exterior windows have been installed.
  • Some interior finishes such as floor coverings are underway at Central Campus.
  • The wall-writing event was very meaningful. The many prayers, drawings and inspirations written on the walls will soon be covered by the finishes; we will continue to pray and we look forward in anticipation to how God will answer those prayers.
  • The roof over the area where the expansion and the existing facility meet is nearing completion; one of the last exterior elements required to seal the facility from the weather.

Update Videos

May and June were eventful months for our BUILD journey. Watch the 45 minute online BUILD update event where we lead our staff and board through tours of the Central Campus expansion area while sharing inspiring stories, thoughts and ideas about how God will move in the lives of people who come to these future spaces. Additionally, you can watch shorter video snippets of people writing and drawing what God is putting on their hearts for the future of His church.

Importance of Prayer

Prayer of the month:
With average giving to BUILD lower than forecast in the first few months of 2022, we are praying and believing in God’s timing, knowing that He will provide the resources when and where they are needed, and that many with whom we engage in our current and future spaces would be drawn into a relationship with Him.

Visit this link for a full list of BUILD prayer requests for June 2022.

Finance Update

Our giving in 2022 has been lower than forecast. Be praying for God’s hand in our timelines and finances.

A family that came about four years ago – a mom, a dad a grandma, two sons, came and were with us for a couple of years while they took English classes and made connections before their refugee claim was settled… and then they were on their way. They came back about a month ago and they just stopped by… and we just had coffee with them and we shared how they were doing, how they have just bought their first house, how their kids were thriving at school and playing soccer, how he was loving his job and they had a little girl who just ran into the play space and played, and he sat back in his chair and he said, ‘you know I remember my first day here four years ago… I remember how afraid I was and how overwhelmed I was for my family, and we were just so blessed to have the opportunity to know that we had been a small part of his life and his family’s life and helping them thrive… and we can celebrate that with them. But the NCFC means that no matter how long it’s been that somebody has gone on and are thriving, we celebrate that they can come back any time - two years, ten years - and let us know how they are doing, and that those relationships continue.
