November 2022 Update
We are so grateful for the good progress over the spring, summer and fall as, for the most part, the weather was exceptional and good progress was made. PRAISE THE LORD!! As we head into the winter season, some outdoor work such as landscaping will take a pause at both Bearspaw Campus and Central Campus.
As we enter the final month of giving for 2022, please pray that God will move our hearts to be generous. Giving has been below forecast recently and we still have a way to go to reach our financial goal, which is described here. We look forward to seeing God continue to move in this area of need as He has brought us further than we could ever imagine and will continue to do so in the spirit of Ephesians 3:20-21.
Have you had an opportunity to contribute to our faith journey to BUILD more room for God? If not, would you prayerfully seek the Lord for His will for your generosity towards these projects? Donations can be accepted at any time. Visit buildmoreroom.ca/give
These are this month’s top construction updates:
- We have installed the first of three elevators in the Central expansion.
- Grading and backfilling on the north and west sides of Central is progressing. Due to changing weather conditions, paving will be deferred to next spring.
- Replacing the roof above the existing building in the NW corner is complete. The roof update was necessary to accommodate new ministry areas (including the New Canadian Friendship Centre) in the area where the new and existing facilities connect.

- At Bearspaw Campus, concrete has been poured for the pergola which will be constructed over the winter as weather permits.

Importance of Prayer
Prayer of the month
As we enter our final giving month of 2022, pray the Lord will move people to generosity toward our journey to BUILD more room for God to accommodate growth we are once again experiencing.

Finance Update
As of October 2022 we have given $3.3M (29.7%) towards our goal of $9.8M; the remaining goal is $6.5M. We are grateful for what the Lord has supplied. Giving in 2022 has been below forecast and we still have a way to go to reach our goal. Thank you for continuing to pray and persevere with us in our journey to “complete the work,” physically, spiritually, and financially, in the spirit of 2 Corinthians 8:11.

I feel our time in Alpha helped me to reconnect meaningfully, not only with core elements of the gospel, but also in relationship building with other like-minded and like-hearted individuals through the sharing of testimonies and personal stories, which all contributed to an enhanced relationship with Jesus.
My wife started Alpha somewhat reluctantly but with a spark of curiosity and has completed the course an entirely changed woman who is desirous for the daily study of the Word and praying for others who require healing.
Testimonial from an Alpha participant.
Alpha courses usually involve sharing meals and growing relationships. The Central expansion will accommodate more discipling events of this nature.
