What a privilege it has been for us to be involved in 38 of the past 60 years of Centre Street Church’s existence! At this time, we are reflecting on King Hezekiah, king of Judah in the Old Testament. We love how, when the nation of Judah comes to a point of need, this godly king lays his requests before the Lord and prays, “O Lord, the God of Israel, enthroned above the heaven and earth. Incline your ear, O Lord, and hear; open your eyes, O Lord, and see…”
As King Hezekiah was faithful to spread out his requests before God, we invite you to join us as we, too, present the needs of Centre Street Church before that same Almighty God. Pray with us, ‘O Lord, God of heaven and earth. God of our individual lives and God of Centre Street Church. Open Your ears and hear our cries. Open Your eyes and see our needs. God, will You provide for us as we commit to faithfully serve You in bringing others to a saving knowledge of Christ. We pray this in Your wonderful and powerful name, the name of Jesus. Amen.
